B.2 Chapter 3. Busted

Jason walked me to school today, we shared my ipod, it was fun. We listened to Escape the fate, and he knew all the words. Wow he is so like me.

"So, have you noticed Freddie, and Jake have been hanging out a lot?" i asked. looking down.

"Yes, it's weird, i really don't like freddie, she is a slut!" he said, emphasizing the world slut.

We then laughed, then the song B.I.M.B.O came on, we laughed harder, what a coinsedence. Bimbo freddie. Haha.

When we got to school Jess, was standing beside Jake, and they kissed a couple of times, and hugged, then after jess left Freddie came over and whispered in his ear.

"What a bitch!" i said.

Jason laughed.

Opps i said that outloud. Oh well.

The good thing about Jason was that He laughs at all my jokes.

I then walked up to freddie. "So, how are you?" i dragged her away from Jake. Sutley.

"Umm good, thanks!" then she walked away. How rude!

When we went into class, i thought i saw Freddie holding Jakes hand under the table, gosh now i am imagining things.

I think Ben saw the same, coz he seemed to nod to me, right this is weird. Either we are all insane, or Freddie and Jake are up to something.

After school i walked home with Jess, she was with Jake, Jason, and Mel, and Ben.

"RAWR! I'M GODZILLA, AND I SEE A PRETTY LADY!" said Jason, then he picked me up and put me on his back and ran.

"Ahhhhh, someone save me!" i yelled. haha we are all so imature.

"Pew, pew,pew!" i heard Ben say, he was making the crappy noises of a gun.

We all laughed. Mel rolled her eyes. Then Thomas came by and grabbed me by the hand, "hey" he said, then kissed her. They really were like a married couple. I wonder if he would propose?

When i got home, i saw mum and Sam come in "Hey Sammy! hows school?" i asked.

"Great, i made a friend called Tina!" he said.

Awww he made a friend, and it was a girl, double awwww. Sam and Tina, cute. I can just picture them walking around school holding hands, like little ones do. So cute.

"Mum, i am going out"It was friday night, and me, Jess, Mel, Jake, Thomas, Jason were going out, to celebrate Jason's 18th birthday.

"mmm kay!" she said.

When i got to the place, it was a big party room, with balloons, and streamers.

Jason saw me and waved. I got up on my tiptoes and kissed him, gosh he had gotten taller, grr why was i so small, everyone was taller than me, well Sophie wasn't, or Freddie.

After about 2 hours of parting, Jake left, why would he leave when his girlfriend, was here, hmm? beats me.

I danced with Jason, and with Ben, and with the girls. Ben did such funny dancing, we did the chicken dance, the sprickler, the lawnmoeer, and the robot. Jason and I danced slow, then crazily, and me and the girls just jumped around. I had so much fun.

After i was home, i got a really sad phone call. "um..hi?" i asked, someone was sobbing down the line.

"Hi, can you come over?" Jess asked.

"Yes, i'll be there in 2 mins!" then i ran to her house, Jess was so sad, i had never seen her so sad in her life.

"Oh Jess, what's wrong?" i asked symaptheticly.

"JAKE WAS CHEATING ON ME!" she screamed out, then burst into tears. "WITH STUPID FREDDIE!! I HATE THAT BITCH, I COULD KILL HER!" she screamed louder than the last time.

I felt the urge to murder him myself. Gosh he made her so sad.

"Um..Jess how do you know?" i asked curious. Please say she didn;t walk in on them.

"Well, it was after the party and i went over to his house, his mum said "Hi, on you go up!" so i went up, and then when i walked in i heard noises, so i flicked the lights on, not knowing what to find, and what i found, was freddie and Jake, under the sheets...NAKED!" she yelled the last word.

I couldn't believe it, so what Ben and I had seen in class, was true, and what i thought, was right.

I gotta believe myself more, or this type of thing could happen again.

"I hate them both!" i said, then rubbed her back.

Then next morning i told mum. she thought it was outragious, as it was. She felt very sorry for Jess.

Well, everyone in our friends group knew now, and everyone hated Freddie, and mostly Jake.

Next week , i saw jess running toward me. "Hey can u keep secrets?" she said.

"Yes!" i said.

"Okay well, i like Mel's brother Ben!" then she blushed.

"Umm...what brought that on?" i asked.

"Well, i always kinda have, but i have actually spoken to him for a while now, and i do really like him!" she said with a smile.

"Great!" i said then smiled. "Ask him out, i'm sure he likes you too!" i said.

"Maybe..." she said, then ran off.

I laughed.

After school Jess told me that she was going out with Ben. Wow, my plan worked, she was happy and so was ben. Right now, i want nothing to change, coz for once everything in life is great. But that wasn't likely to happen, not with my luck around.

B2. Chapter 2. Brake up

I stood there, looking at Jason, trying to firgure out the best way to tell him.

"Okay...Jason, i think we...should Brake up." then i started sobbing, and ran off. As i was running i pulled off my locked, and put it in my pocket.

"FINE THEN, LETS BRAKE UP!" he yelled after me, i heard in his voice that he was crying too. Then i heard his car start, he drove off past me. As i was running i saw someone, up ahead it was Ben, and Jason was driving fast up there. OH, MY GOD! he was gonna hit ben. I ran faster pushing myself, I got to Ben too late, He was lying on the ground groaning, the car had hit his leg. Jason looked at me, and saw that i was hurt, and i looked back, we were both a mess, clearly we loved each other and clearly i had just made the biggest mistake of my life.

"SHIT!" he yelled, holding in great big sobs.

I lifted Ben up and took him to Mel's house, i put him on the couch, Mel saw.

"What the hell, happened?" she asked, shocked. "And what happened to you, your a mess." she pointed out. thanks mel.

"I am okay, i just think i broke my leg!" he said, and waved to Mel.

"Oh, thankgod, but what happened." i heard mel say again. And just before he could answer. Blackout. I must have fainted, or colapsded or...died. Watever one, i am fine with. Maybe the last would be best.

When i woke up, i was in a hospital bed, and Ben was next to me, with his leg in a cast. Mel was sitting in between us "Gosh! you two are as bad as each other!" she said then laughed.

"Hannah you fainted and hit your head!" Ben said.

"Oh, thats what happened, i was hoping i had died." i said sadly. "It's what i deserve!".

I reached up to feel my head, and when i brought my hand down, there was blood. "Crap how hard did i hit my head?" i asked stupidly. obviously quiet hard.

"I dunno, i was half un-concious!" Ben said.

"Pretty hard, you fell and hit your head on the side of my table!" she said.

Oh, i am stupid.

"Where's Jason, i really need to talk to him!" i said, then started sobbing.

"Oh, what happened?" Mel asked worriedly, as she passed me tissues.

"I broke up with him...I don't even know why, i hate myself, and i just wanna go die." i said, then started sobbing again.

"Oh, My, God! why the hell did you do that, you love each other, and it;s clear, you are a mess now. He just drove off, i dunno, he might not come back!" she said. thanks Mel that didn't help.

this time my mum showed up, and i cryed even harder.

"Shhh! honey, it;s okay!" she said. "Sam's at you grandparents!" she said.

i sniffed a cople of times. " I HATE MYSELF!" i shouted.

"NO, YOU DON'T YOUR JUST A MESS RIGHT NOW!" mum said loudly.

i didn't talk for the rest of the evening, or the next day at school, or the next, basically the hoel week. I could see that everyone was really worried about me, but it didn't matter, what mattered was that Jason wasn't coming to school, and now i wasn't going to either.

That next week, i didn't go, i just stayed in my room with the door locked. I had my music up full blast, and i didn't care about anything. God, i'm such a horrible, person. Then i remembered, THE LOCKET! It was still in my jacket pocked, i got it out, and opened it, it made me cry so much, i threw it half way across my room, and i don't even know where it landed.

I hadn't talked for 2 weeks now, it felt good, but i wonder if i would ever speak again, at this rate i don't think so...

It was late that night i decided to call Jason, i didn't even know where he was. It rang 3 times, then he answered "Hey hannah! Look i'm really sorry for everything!" he said. why was he apologising that was my job.

"No, i am sorry, i...i.."I trailed off, then started sobbing.

"Hey, hey, stop, it's okay, hey do you want me to come over? we need to talk about....everything" he asked.

"Yeah, please!" i said, then i hung up.

5 minutes later, the door rang, mum answered, i could hear her thanking him, and saying that i haven't come out my room, for about 3 weeks. except for toilet, and showers, and food.

I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" i said.

He looked at me sitting on the bed, i must be a mess, coz as soon as he saw me he sighed.

"Listedn Jason, i'm sorry for everything, i hate myself, and feel free to eat me now!" i said, then smiled. the first time in weeks, i was talking, and smiling. Jason really was a magic man.

He laughed. "I am not gonna eat you, and i accept you apology, now can you except mine?" he asked.

"Yes!" i said, then he grabbed my by my hands, and pulled me in for a hug.

He whispered in my ear "Can we get back together? I really miss you, and I will never love anyone else but you!"

"Yes, i don't even know why i broke up with you, i was being stupid, i just had so much to think about, i am so sorry!" i said.

Then we kissed, I felt his warm breath in my mouth, and then his tounge pushing my mouth open, we kissed and kissed and kissed. Then mum knocked on the door "Hannah, Time for Jason to leave!" she said, then giggled.

"Kay!"i said. "I love you" i said.

"I love you more!" he said, then on his way out he stopped, "umm...hannah, don't lose this" he threw my locket at me, i cought it.

"Can you help me put it on?" i said.

"Yes, with pleasure!" he said, then put it on.

The next morning at school, everyone smiled, as they saw me back, with jason holding my hand. Even Ben, with his cast. Mel was still at school, and looking slightly "fat" but she wasn't to bad yet. Jason moved seats next to me, and Ben moved beside someone else.

He passed me a note:

I love you, and always will!

I wrote back:

I love you so much more!

We then laughed.

So all was good, Mel was doing well, I was happy with Jason again, and Jess and Jake, were happy, And Sam was doing well in school.

B.2. Chapter 1. Ben

"Okay, Honey, I'm going over to sue's with Sam, and i will stay there for a while, so have a nice day!" Mum said, as she was leaving.
"Bye then!" i muttered. God she must just love leaving me alone, well i didn't mind it, it was quite fun. I liked being independant, so why should this matter.
The door rang, who could that be?
I opened the door.
"Oh hey Jess, how are you?" i asked casually.
"Alright thanks, can i come in?"
"Yeah, c'mon!"
"Geez, you pick up language fast, thats like Jason's word." she said then looked at me.
I laughed.
We hung around, in my room, listening to Paramore, and talking about her and Jake.
"So, how long have you been with him?" i asked.
"Umm...about about 9 months!" she said then smiled.
"Aww, cool!" i said, feeling very happy for Jess.
Today was 1st of January, and Sam was going to start school tomorrow, and my friends and I were going back, i don't think mel was though.
"Mel's getting pretty big!" Jess mumbled.
"Yep, i think she could manage 2 more months of school, before she has to stay off!" i said.
"Yeah, Her brother really likes you, do you think he's good looking, and have you considered him?" she asked, really curiously.
"Umm..i dunno" was alli could say, because yes, he was great looking, and yeah i have considered it, but i really love Jason. I mean he was only a year younger than me, so....oh god! stop Hannah.
I shock my head, getting the dazing feeling away.
"Well i better head off, cya soon!" then she left.
The next morning when i went downstairs, i saw Sam in his school uniform, it was sooo cute. Aww he was dancing around singing.
"I'M GOING TO SCHOOL, YAY!" Sam yelled, every 3 seconds.
I was back in my uniform, not singing about it, but i mean, it wasn't hideous, it just wasn't perfect, but then again...nothing ever is.
"Sam, we got to go now, come on!" mum lifted him up and took him to the car.
"Bye mum!" i said. Mum had got me a car over the holidays, so now i could drive to school, i had to drive Mel.
So when i stopped outside her house, i saw ben in his uniform, well the same as ours except boys one...lol it would be funny if he was in a skirt.
"Hey, Ben, want a lift?" i asked.
"umm...okay!" he answered, you could tell he wasn't really thinking about it, he would do anything, if i was there.
"Hey hannah, and....BEN!" she said, then yelled his name.
"Shhh! Mel stop stressing, it's fine!" i calmed her down.
We got to school, and as it was a new year, we got to sit in new seats. Jason greeeted me with a kiss, and hugged me.
Gosh everyone had changed so much over the summer, Jason had facal hair, Jess looked older, and more stunning than the last time, gosh. Mel was bigger, but she was different, her hair was left down curly, so was jesss's, and mine, great we all macth now...oh well. Jake seemed to be good friends with Freddie now...thats weird. David was so different, he had grown his hair long, and got a side frindge, He pulled it was over his face so you couldn't see it at all, i guess he was still sad about Sophie.
When i walked into class, i stopped suddenly, and my mouth fell open. Ben was sitting in my class. I walked over to him "um...What are you doing in the class?" i asked nicely.
"Umm...well i got moved up a year!" he said, then grinned. Uh oh! if Jason saw this, he was dead.
"Great!" i said, happily.
All the girls walked up to the front again, and got a name, i got the last paper, delibratley.
"umm...i got....."i trailed off, just my luck "Ben" i gulped.
You should have seen Jason's face, i am scared now.
When i sat next to Ben, he made me laugh so much, we got into trouble, but it was worth it.
Mel was really angry at Ben, for being in our class. She was sweating slightly, the hole being pregnant thing made her really sweaty. Thomas sat next to her, rubbing her hand, they looked like a married couple. Myabe they would be after this year.
Jason sat next to Jess, and Jake sat next to Freddie. Hmmm? something was telling me, that something was going on...and i didn't know what.
That friday at Mels house, i stayed the night, with Jess there too. We were all laughing, and sitting in our pj's, watching 'Bring it on'. Mel had to get bigger pj's, haha, they were mickey mouse ones, very cute.
Once they were asleep, i went to the bathroom, and like the first time, Ben showed up.
"Hi!" i whispered.
"Hey!" he whispered back.
We sat at the top of the stairs. He moved closer. Then put his arm around me, and before i could stop him, he was kissing me. Crap" Why couldn't i stop? Oh yeh, because he was enxreadly storng gripping me closer to him. Then i gave in and started kissing him back, this was wrong, i had a boyfriend, and this was classified as cheating, no, no, no i couldn't. I pulled away.
"um..." i said.
"I'm sorry...i couldn't help it." Ben said, shyly.
"Well you should have." i then got up and walked in the the room, and slammed the door. opps! i forgot they were sleeping. They both woke with a shock.
"WHAT WHAT!?" said jess.
"umm...sorry" i said, apologeticly.
"Where were you?" mel asked.
"Um..toilet, then Ben joined me and...." i trailed off, i had already said to much.
"WHAT HAPPENED!!??" Mel asked, jess just sat there smiling.
"Umm...he kissed me, but i pulled away!" i said, embarassed.
"I AM GONNA KILL THAT BOY!" she yelled.
I heard a muffled laughter coming from Ben;s room. He was laughing, he was proud, great.
Wow, i felt weird, he was a good kisser.....shut up Hannah. What was i going to do, I was going through so much, now. I burst into tears.
Jess rubbed my back. "Awww Hannah! Whats wrong?" she asked.
"I hate myself, i...i...i...." i was sobbig now.
Meanwhile Mel was probably killing her brother in the other room.
"You IDIOT!" she said, then i heard a slap.
"Owch!" i heard Ben say.
When Mel came back in, she saw me crying and got tissue's.
"Thanks!" i chocked out.
My phone rang in the morning, it was Jason.
"hi!" i said.
"Hey...wanna meet me at the river?" he said.
"Yeah, i need to talk to you!" i said then hung up.

Start of book 2. Intro...

Hey, it's Hannah. My life is a complicated tangle of webs, that join, and brake, and i'm never very sure which direction to take on the web(otherwise known as life). Spiders are so much better at it than i am.

Well it's just after christmas, and i'm visiting Mel this morning, to see how she is.

When i arrived, i just walked in, coz i knew where Mel would be, slumped across the couch, with about 3 chocolate bars, and a bananna. Oh, My God! she is getting bigger each day, we might need to start the plan soon, you know the one where, Mel is to sick, and so she has to stay off school. Oh life is tricky, and it gets harder with age...

Chapter 10. Mel's secret unfolds

That morning, on Septemer 10th Mel called. She sounded scared.

"Hello?" i asked, half asleep. she called so early.

"Oh My Gosh! Hannah, help me!" she was panicing.

This woke me up, "WHAT WHAT!?" i said.

"umm...okay....my tummy....has grown, i am fat!" she said, angry.

"Um...how could you suddenly be fat, after being so bloody skinny!" i lauhged.

"Well, i had been eatin so much chocolate lately, it isn;t funny how much i have been eating, i just feel like i need it!" she said ashamed.

"Umm...well excersise then..." i said, kinda stating the obvious.

"Yeah, sorry i woke you up....well you can come over if you want, now that your up!" she said, clearly wanting me over.

"Yeah sure!" then we hung up.

I walked to hers, and found her with a chocolate bar, in her hands, as i walked in. Oh god! something was very different about her, first her had had gone curly, and her tummy did look bigger, but not in a fat way, more like a balloon, but only the start of it blowing up.

"Ummm....Mel, i don't think your fat!" i said, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Well look at this!" she pointed to her tummy. and i laughed.

"Umm....sorry, i am not laughing at you!" i said, holding in the laughter.

"Well, what do you think it is then?" she looked at me worriedly.

"Umm....hate to say this mel, but...i think...your...pregnant!" then i shrugged.

"WHAT!? oh god, oh god!, i never thought about that, shit, shit , shit, my mum will kill me, and now that you mention that, it does explain the vometing, and stuff, i have been having morning sickness, crap, crap, crap!" she was panicing again, and i mean she had a great reason, i knew she was pregnant.

"You better tell Thomas, phone him!" i said.

"Yes, what if he brakes up with me because of it?" she said, then started getting watery eyes.

"Aww Mel, if he does, then he isn;t worth it!" i said. then hugged her.

"Yeah, okay i shall call him, stay in here with me though, please?" she said, poor mel.

SHe called, he picked up. "Hey!" i heard her say.

Mel's phone call:

"Okay Thomas, well, basically, i'm....pregnant, and it's yours!" she said, trying not to cry, then it burst, she started crying, well more sobbing. It was too late to kill it, because there was a slight lump in her.

"Oh, thanksyou Thomas, i love you, your so understnading!" she said, then smiled to me. That was a good sign.

"Bye, i love you, cya in 10!" she said, then hung up.

"So, whats happening?" i asked.

"Well he wants to stay with me, and he is happy, but we are a bit stumped about the hole school thing, and telling our parents!" she said, suddenly full of panic again.

"Yeah, well i am here for you!" i said soothingly.

"Owch!" she said then grabbed her tummy, then she ran to the toilet.

"Mel!? are you okay?" i stumbled over her rug, then fell over. Ben appearred and helped me up.

"Thanks!" i said.

"No problem! where;s mel?" he asked.

"Umm...err...uhh...toilet!" i said, then looked down, i hated stuttering. He pulled my face up, i pulled away. I went to the toilet door, "Mel, you okay??" i asked.

"Umm...." she trailed off. I hear Mel throw up. Yuk, i walked awya and sat on the couch. Ben sat next to me.

"Hi" i said.

"Hello!" he waved. i laughed.

He was so funny, and nice.ummm wait i shouldn't be saying this, this was Mel's brother. Mel came out, she was all sweaty.

"wow, mel you look bad, Hannah whats wrong with her?" he asked me, because he knew something was up.

"Umm...." i said, thats all i could say.

Mel looked at me saying, tell him he will understnad.

"Okay, look, ben, Mel is pregnant." i said, then bit my lip.

"Ooh! Mel, WHat are you gonna do?" he asked her.

"Umm...i dunno, i want it, and so does Thomas, but mum and dad, will hate me, and probably kick me out!" she said sadly.

"Well then you can come stay with me!" i said.

"Yeah! well, can i just live with you now?" Ben said.

I laughed, so much i almost peed. I went into the toilet, and then walked out saying "MUCH BETTER!" i laughed, so did Ben.

When i got home, i told mum.

"OH My! honey, umm...what is she going to do?" she said, worried.

"Well Thomas, and her want the baby, and they want it together, but her parents won't like that much!" i said.

"Yeah! well, has she told her mum and dad yet?" she asked softly.

"Umm..no, thats tonight!" i said, looking worried.

"Oh, well, i will talk to her mum after, and try to make things right, i mean i had you at 21, so she is 17, umm okay that won;t work!" she started talking to herself at the end.

"Yeah, well, hmm?" i said.

Then i walked down to the river with mel and Jess, now jess knew, but we wouldn't tell anyone else. This secret couldn't get out, it was far too big, we would just make Mel go to school until, she was to big them she would stay off, and say she was extremly ill. It could work, with enough friends around you, this could work out.

"So how did your parents react?" i asked really curiously.

"Umm...they are disapointed, but they will help me through it! and they are happy i told them!" she said, a bit happier, than earlier.

"Cool!" Jess and I said at the same time.

"So this is pretty big, Mel. Your having a baby with a guy, and your 17!" she pointed out, well it was obvious.

"I wonder if it will be male, or female?" i lauhged then.

"Or both!" I heard Ben say, from behind us. we all stopped then. Mel and Jess, walked home, and left me with him. great! Thanks girls!

"Hey!" he said.

"umm...hello!" i said

He grabbed me then and hugged me. "Ahhhh get off!" i pushed him away.

"What?" he asked.

"umm..i have a boyfriend!" i reminded him for the 3rd time.

Just then Jason appeared looking angry. uh oh! not this, this is not what i need right now.

"WHAT THE HELL, DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!?" Jason yelled at Ben.

"Umm...we're friends, i hugged her!" he said innocently.

"RIGHT, LEAVE HER ALONE, IF I EVER CATCH YOU WITH HER AGAIN, YOU WILL BE SORRY!" he shouted.

"Jason, be nice, he didn't mean it like that!"I said. Even though he did mean it like that, but i didn't.

"C'MON!" he said to me, then grabbed my hand and pulled me away, i managed to sneek a look behind and mouth sorry to him. He smiled, and waved.

When Jason took me to his house he kissed me, and i kissed him back, i hadn't seen him for what...5 days, oh well lol. Now i had to be careful i didn't want to get Ben hurt, but i liked being around him, so i was going to see him again, even if it meant lying to my boyfriend.

So Mel was pregnant, Jess was still with Jake, and i wasn't aloud to see ben, Well more like he wasn't aloud to touch me. Hmmm? i could make this work.

When i got home, i heard the phone ring, i answered "Hello?" i said.

"Oh, thank god Hannah!" Jess said, happily.

"Umm yes" i said.

"Okay, i have really bad news!" she said, unhappily.

"Okay, lets hear it!" i said, bracing myself.

"Sophie was hit by a bus today, and has died. We don't know when she was hit, but she was found an hour ago." she said, then started crying.

"Awww, poor thing, oh her parents mum be devastated." i said, then started crying a little.

"Yeah, she was 16, turning 17 in october." she said unhappily.

"Well, sorry but i got to go now." i said then hung up.

So let me get my life straight. Mel was pregnant, Sophie was dead, and i wasn't aloud to see Ben. Great, how was i going to get through one problem, when i now had 3.

Chapter 9. August 3rd

Today was a cold day, quite a bad day, if you ask me. It was quiet in my house today, and we all knew why, well apart from Sam, but i think he knew...slightly. The reason behind all this, was that..this was the day....dad died. 4 years ago, it was wet a slipery outside, and dad was rushing home from work, to help mum with dinner, when he lost controll of the car, and hit a tree. When mum found out, it was over the phone, she went really white, as the blood rushed out from her face. Then the tears started. I was 14, and sam was 1, so i was holding him at the time. I quickly put him down on his little chair, and ran over to mum, i started hugging her, and she put her free arm around me. Once she had hung up on the phone, she put her head in her hands, and was sobbing.
I was asking her, the same question 5 times, before she told me. She said "I'm so sorry Hannah darling, but dad has died, in a car crash!" then she started sobbing again, but this time i joined, but i ran up to my room, and cried on my bed for several hours. See the thing was, i was always closer to dad, like i looked more like him, i had his brown hair, i even had his eye colour. We always spent his sunday off together, it didn't matter what we did, we played football, or we went out for lunch, but the thing i liked most about him was that, he listened, and he was always there for me. Mum was always busy with Sam, so i suppose thats when i grew up, thats when i knew, i had to look after myself now. Kind of sad, when you think about it, a 14 year old, realizing she has no-one. I mean sure i had mum, but i didn't have her as much as i would have liked, because she was always with Sam.
I decided to ring Mel, it rang 4 times. "Hello?" said Mel.
"Hey it's Hannah!" i said happily. "HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY! for the 29th of July!" i said, then i laughed.
She was on holiday for a while, so i could wish her a happy birhtday, so better late than never.
"Oh thanks!" she laughed. But she sounded different.
"Um...are you alright?" i asked worried.
"Yes" she said, i could tell she was lying.
"Mel, tell me the truth" i said strongly.
"You sound sad, whats wrong?" she changed the subject, and it was true, today wasn't my favourite day, And it never would.
"Um...nothing.." i paused, wondering if i could say it, without crying, i still wasn;t over it. "Okay, basically, it;s the say when my dad died." I said, then held back the tears.
"Oh, i'm really sorry for asking!" she said apologeticly.
"It's okay...." i trailed off, coz i started getting tears in my eyes. "look, sorry i got to go now!" then i hung up.
I ran up stairs sobbing. Again. Mum came in.
"Honey, there, there, it's alright!" she soothed me, but it wasn;t working. she had gotten over it.
"No...IT ISN'T OKAY, IT NEVER WILL BE, I WILL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN, AND THE LAST THING I SAID WAS....MMMMM" i shouted, the last thing i said was 'mmmmm' you know, my morning thing. He was leaving for work, and he always, said bye to me.
"Awwww, baby, calm down, it's okay. i know you were close with him, but it's okay, he is watching over us every day!" she said, then rubed my back.
I sighed, and the tears stopped. I sat up and hugged mum.
"Thanks!" i said, and smiled.
"Honey, i love you, and i am always here for you!" she said.
"Mum, i'm gonna call Mel, and ask if i can see her!" i said.
"Okay, have fun!" she said.
When i called she picked up straight away. "Hannah! HANNAH!" she screammed, "Are you alright?" she said again.
"Yeh, i am better now, can i come over?" i asked nicely.
"Yes, come now, i want to see you!" she said, then i heard Ben from the living room "And i do too!" he said. then i heard something smash, crap mel had thrown something at him.
"Mel don't hurt him!" i said.
"Meh, he deserves it! so come round soon!" she said then hung up.
I walked over, with my ipod playing, i started playing the music dad got me into, rock, he showed me this awesome band, and took me to a concert, they are called 'the white stripes'. They were a great band, but they could do with some bass.
when i arrived, i knocked, then Ben answered "Hey, how are you?" he asked.
"Meh, life sucks, you get used to it!" then i walked in.
"Hey hannah!" mel hugged me. then took me to her room.
"Hi" i said.
"So hows things?" she asked, trying to to hit any soft spots.
"Um...terrible..well i guess only for me, i am not over it, at all." i said, boringly.
"Oh, okay!" she said, i could tell she was putting something off.
"SO hows your life?" i asked, emphisizing your.
"Oh it's okay, umm...Thomas and i...um...you know, again" she said, then flushed a orangey-red colour.
"Oh...again..wow...um..having fun?" i said with a smile.
"Haha! um...yes, but this time, i am worried, i think, see thats the thing, i didn't think and now, i am worried..." she trailed off.
"um...safe?" i asked.
"Yes, yes, yes!" she said quickly. "But you know...." she said.
"Well, then what you worried...about?" i asked, suddenly really confussed.
"umm, i dunno, anything can happen!" she pointed out the obvious. "So have you and Jason?" she asked.
"Nope" we laughed.
"Okay, well Ben really likes you!" she pointed out the obvious, again.
"Okay...i know that, oh yeh he is 16 now, i see what you mean, and NO!" i said, i knew she was asking, if i liked him.
"okay, okay, i was just asking." she said with her hands up, like you were surrendering to a police officer.
Then after i got home, mum had made my favourite meal. Ckicken and chips, lol, i am so easily pleased. Mum made good chips, yum, they were so sofrt, but crunchy, they tasted great too.
I slept well that night, which i normally don't, but i had a weird dream, it was Mel and Thomas, they had something in their arms? WAIT, what? a baby turtle....umm...okay, that was just plain weird. What did this mean? Why was i dreaming about this?
"MORNING ALL, blah blah blah blah blah!" i didn;t catch the rest, it was my new alarm, it set the radio off in the morning.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" i yelled at it.
Then my mobile rang, oh who could that be?
"Hello!" i said.
"Hey, wanna meet me at the river? " said Jess. "Mel's here too!" she said happily.
"Yes, give me 30 mins! I'm just up !" they laughed. gosh, what just coz i liked sleeping, oh crap, i am in a terrible mood.
"Sure sure!" they said.
I practicly, ran to the river, in a summer blue dress, the sun was out today. It had black flowers on it, and the dress was aqua blue, i really liked this dress.
"Hey girls!" i said, trying to be nice, and not take my mood out on them.
"Hi," Jess said.
Then i realized, they wanted to talk. Great, i just loved loads of girl talk.
"So blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!" said Jess, i missed it all i was dazing off, while staring at the water.
"Yep!" Mel said, they looked at me, and then i realized Jess had asked a question. Opps!
"Huh? sorry i dazed off!" i said, a bit angry at myself.
"I said, do you wanna come over for a sleepover tonight?" jess said.
"Yep!" i said, they laughed.
That night at Jess's, we were sitting eating junk, while watching movies, then Mel said, "Have u got any Chocolate?"
"umm...yes, thanks for reminding me, we need to eat our way through that!" she laughed.
"OOHHH! yes, it's milk chocolate!" she said, then grabbed like 9 pieces, then ate them.
"umm...are you craving?" I said, eyeing her worriedly.
"NO, i love chocolate, i am NOT craving!" she said.
Jess whispered in my ear, "It's true, she loves chocolate!" she giggled.
"kay!" why was i nervous, i guess i just had a bad feeling.
When i went back home, mum was watching 'The tellytubbies' with Sam. He loved that show.
When i called Mel, to talk her, it rang 6 times, this was unusual.
"Hi!" said Ben.
"Oh hey, is Mel there?" i asked.
"um...well she is really sick, she has been throwing up and stuff, so i don't think she can talk!" he said. "but i could talk to you!" he offered.
"umm..thats great, but i got to go anyway, sorry Bye " then i hung up. Crap, i hope that wasn't harsh.
Well Mel was sick, oh dear, i wonder what she has?

Chapter 8. Forgotten

When i woke up, on that saturday morning, my alarm said '6th of june'. Hmmm? Something about that day rings a bell, But what? it was something obvious, something that was gonna cost me for forgetting. So anyway like any other morning i got up, had a shower, got changed into a black skirt, and a green top. I let my hair dry curly today. When i started to walk down stairs i heard the noise that stopped my heart, completly.
"HAPPY BIRFDAYS MUMMY!" sam called.
Shoot! how could i forget mum's birthday, when even Sam remembered. This is so bad of me. What do i do? I ran back up stairs not making a noise, i stuffed my bed with pillows and things to make them look like me. Then i grabbed my handbag, and climbed down out of the window. I couldn't tell mum i had forgotten her birthday!
Okay so i had $25 in my purse, that was surley enough to buy her a card, and a nice teady bear saying 'mum i love you'. I went into the nearest gift store, and bought a cute little card, and a nice teady bear, as i said before. It cost $21.95. Phew! i got her something, but that wasn't going to take the guilt away. I would just have to live with that.
When i arrived home, i had to climb back up the window, some cars passed giving me looks, i just ignored them. i put my bag down, and ran down stairs singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!".
Then i handed her my gift.
"Oh, honey thanks, it;s lovely." she said thankfully.
Pfft it was shameful, actually. "Oh no problem mum!" i said, trying to lie.
Sam had made her a cute little card with her and Sam holding hands. Awww bless him.
"Sammy, i like what you got mummy!" i said, with a smile.
"You gots...her a nice, teady bear!" he said, then smiled.
So for now everything was going fine. Then as mum was leaving to get some shopping, the phone rang, so i waved her bye then ran to the phone.
"Hello?" i said.
"Hi!" said Jason.
"Oh, hey!" i laughed.
"How are you?" he asked.
"Guilty, terrible, stupid, what about yourself?" i said, sadly, i started to cry a little, but held it in.
"I am fine, but not anymore, whats wrong babe?" he said worriedly.
"Well, it's mum's birthday today, and i woke up and i had forgotten about it, completley. so i had to climb out a window, and run to a girft store. I feel awful!" when i turned round, i gasped, Mum was standing there, looking a bit red. "Got to go, bye !" i said quickly, then hung up.
She stood there, and the was bright red, i had never seen her so mad.
"Listen mum, I'm so sorry! I am so stupid!" i said, trying to calm her down.
".........*sighs*......WELL.....I JUST DON'T KNOW.....EITHER YOUR TOO BUSY TO REMEMBER ME, OR YOU JUST DON'T CARE!" she choked out the last line. then stormed off to her room, sam must be at grandma's and grandpa's.
I started sobbing, more like bawling, and ran to Jason;s house.
i rang the door bell, Jason answered.
"H...." he stopped before he could greet me. instead he just hugged me.
"There, there it's okay! shhh!" he started trying to calm me down, it didn't work so he walked me down to the river.
" I'm such a horrible person!" i managed to choke out.
"NOO! your not! you just forgot, it;s okay, just buy her some chocolates, and flowers and get her a sorry card!" he soothed me, but i had already socked his t-shirt.
"Yes, i am horrible, one thing i have donw wrong, now 2 things, i have stuffed up your shirt, it;s all wet!" i let the last of my tears fall down my cheeks then it stopped.
"Meh, don't worry about me. I have never ever seen you so upset!" he looked down at me sadly.
"So i deseve getting run over by a bus right now!" i said, upset again. but i held it back.
"Shhhh! calm down, he hugged me tighter, and then he gave me a tissue. "This might be handy" he said and smiled. I smiled back
"thanks!" i said. i blew my noise, and wiped my eyes and cheeks. He was the best boyfriend ever.
"Your the best Jason!" i said, and grinned.
"Your better!" he said.
He took my back to his house, and i went to the toilet to clean up. Gosh! my eyes were still slightly red, and my nose was red, i looked like rudolf the red nosed raindeer. Oh well not to worry.
When i walked into the room, he grabbed me and hugged me so tight. He was warm, so wamr it was hard to let go.
"mmmm this is nice, i love you!" he said.
" yes, i love you." i said, the smelt in. GEEZ! he smelt good.
"You smell nice!" i said, "I mean really really nice" i said again.
"umm...thanlyou, you smell great!" then he pulled away and bent down to kiss me, it was quick, but sweet. I didn't want to leave.
"You can stay or go" he said, saying the word stay slowly.
"i'm not sure what to do!" i said, hoplessly.
"How about i walk you to the shop and u buy her a sorry card and stuff?" he asked.
"Yes, thats probably wise!" i said, thankfully.
As we walked, he had his hand around my waist this time, he had never walked with me this way before, i liked it. A lot.
I bought mum, a sorry card, and some flowers.
"they are nice, she will like them!" he said.
"Yes, she will! Oh! wow, look those roses are so nice!" i liked roses.
"hmm? lets get you back!" then he took my waist again, and we walked to my house, well i shall see you later!" he said then kissed me a nice romantic kiss.
i walked quietly into mum;s room. "Happy Birtday mum! i got you these!" i just put them next to her bed, and walked away. Before i walked out the door she said "Honey, wait! I'm sorry, i was really harsh, it;s just, my birthdays bring back bad memories, and so i am always a bit, scary on them!" she laughed. "THANKS!" she cried.
"umm..no problem, i just had to make it right!" i said cheerfully.
"Oh dear, you have been crying a lot! Sorry!" she smiled apologeticly.
"Doesn't matter!" i said.
" You know Hannah, your growing up so fast these days, and your beautiful, i am not just being buyist!" she laughed, then i laughed.
"Thanks!" i said, then walked out.
So things were back into place, with everyone. I called Jason to tell him.
"Hey Hannah!" he said.
"Hey! mum, is happy again!" i said happily.
"Good!" he said.
"Thanks as well, you help me all the time, and i never really say thanks! but thanks for everything, your the best!" i said.
"I love you Hannah!" he said.
"I love you more!" then i hung up.
Life was great at the moment, but knowing me, something was going to slip on toe out of line, adn everything would stuff up. Again.

Chapter 7. Secrets

I think i was more friendly with Jess, but i enjoyed hanging out with Mel too, But this morning, she trusted me with a lot.

"Hannah, i trust you with my life!" she blurted out while i was waiting at her locker.

"umm wow, really?" i asked shocked.

"Yes! and i need to know, that you can keep secrets?" she asked.

"Yes, i have never told a secret in my life!" i promiced, and that was true, basically becuase i never had many friends.

"Okay, well this isn't a big secret, but don't tell anyone, only Jess and you!" she looked at me seriously.

"Okay, sure!" i said.

She started to whisper, "Okay, i'm staying the night at Thomas's this friday night" she looked better after she told me.

"Cool, what;s wrong with that?" i asked, still curious to why she was making suck a fuss over this all.

She whispered." well, we might...get up to something" then she blushed.

It then hit me, like a load of bricks, Mel might do something. Oh my gosh! she shouldn't but she might, Oh my!

"Right...i get it now!" i laughed. "I won't say a word!"

At lunch, Jason pulled me away behind the tree, and started kissing me. It was just so sudden, wow, oh well...may as well enjoy it, he was fun to kiss.

"OOOOOHHHH!" we heard them all say.

i pulled away and went back round, red faced. Jason laughed, he liked it when i blushed, he thought it was cool, how i could blush so easily. I suppose none of our group have ever seen us makeout, so it was a first.

"umm...guys was that the first time?" Jess asked.

"Nope!" Jason and i said at the same time.

We all laughed.

Jason and I had been together now 3 months, and we were both in love with each other.i still wore my locket everyday, and everyngiht, basically i never took it off.

Jason whispred in my ear "So do you wanna come over after school?"

"uh..yeah" i said, a bit too eager.

He laughed.

"OOHHH! what are you guys talking about?" Mel said, eyeing me suspitiously.

"oh nothing!" Jason said casually.

That friday, Mel hugged me goodbye, and ran off with Thomas in his car. Thomas had turned 17 over the holidays, so he got his liecence now. Jason and I already had one, he had a car i didn't. Yet.

"Hannah! c'mon, !" jason yelled, from his car, i liked when we walked but i suppose, now he had a car, he may as well use it.

Once we got to his house, he unlocked the door.

"Hello! anyone in?" he asked.

There was silence. Which i was guessing, since the door was locked.

He held my hand on the way up to his room, and pulled me through the door, then closed it behind him.

"I think mum is out, with her friends tonight." he said, then smiled, and pulled me closer.

"Oh, more time alone!" i winked. then we laughed.

We then started kissing, and kissing, then i felt his hand on my top, Next thing i knew my top was off. He had his hands firmly on my waist, and then he took his shirt off. He looked good with his t-shirt off. Then he pulled me towards the bed, and he slumped onto it pulling me on top. we were rolling around on the bed for a while kissing, then before we knew it we heard his mum's car pull up.

"Shit!" he said.

"Uh oh!" i said. i put my top on quickly, he did the same.

We were laughing when his mum knocked and came in to check on us.

"Hello!" she said with a smile, checking around the room for any signs, there was none, coz nothing happened.

"Hey!" i waved. then she left.

Jason kissed me again. I snuggled with him on his bed for a while. It was so relaxing, he feel asleep. I started to move, i should probably let him sleep, so i started to get up, but his hand was so strong it pulled me back down onto him with a thud. His eyes flew open.

"Sorry, i woke you up!" i bit my lip.

"it's okay, hey don't leave! please" he asked, pulling my hand.

"umm...well i probably should stay the night!" i said, bitting into my lip more.

"Hey babe! one thing, don't stuff your lip up, i need to kiss that, haha! and also, your aloud to stay, it's not like we're gonna do anything.!" he said while winking.

I laughed "Yes i suppose, i will stay if you want me to, because i am up for anything!" I said.

"Cool, well i want you to!" he said, then hugged me.

The sun was setting and, he took me to the river.

We watched the stars together and lay on a dry blanket. We were pretty tired, and we snuggled. Then we both fell asleep.

He woke up first. "Hey sleeping beauty!" he said, and kissed my forehead.

"mmmm" i said, that was my usual morning thing. Then my eyes slew open, i realized i had slept outside with my boyfriend beside a river, oh how lovely. Not.

He laughed.

"C'mon, i'll walk you home!" He said.

I jumped onto his back, and he gave me a piggy back ride home. i liked when he gave me them, they were fun.

" I LOVE YOU!" i said loudly.

"haha, i love you so much more!" he said.

Once i was home, i called Mel.

"Hey!" i said, as she picked up.

"oh, hi can i come over, i need to talk to you!" she said in a worried voice.

"umm, sure come over!" i said, then she hung up. weird i was normally the one to hang up.

The door rang 20 mins later.

"Hello!" i said.

"Hey, can i talk to you, in your room!" she said.

"Yes, c'mon!" haha i had picked the c'mon thing up from Jason.

"Okay me and Thomas, got up to things, and i am worried, about....stuff. i mean we were safe, but, you know..." she trailed off.

"Oh! well i'm sure it;s fine don't worry!" i said, calming her down.

"Yes, i am sure, too, but you know!" she said.

"yeah, well stop worrying!" i said again.

"thanks, well i got to go now! Bye" she said then she left.

Oh, my gosh! i can't believe she...did that, she was still 16, wow, she was confident. Well, Mel and Thomas had been together for a year and 3 months, so i suppose they must have great confidence in each other. This was a secret, and a pretty big one too, i couldn't say a word not even to my boyfriend, he was the closest person in my life, apart from mum. This was my first secret from him.

Chapter 6. Holiday's

The school had given us 2 weeks holiday's, before the second term.
"Hey Hannah! Do you wanna come over tomorrow?" Mel asked.
"Yeah, i will call you tonight to talk about it!" i said, as i was running to the toilet, i really needed to go, i had just drank 2 liters of water in 10 minutes.
When i got home, i called Mel. It rang 2 times, then someone picked up.
"Hello" Said a man's voice, it was deep, so it must have been her dad.
"Hi, it;s Hannah, can i speak to Melissa?" i asked politely, i hated phoning people, i always stuttered, and got nervous and sweaty.
"Yes, i will just go get her!" he said then put the phone down.
"Hey hannah!" a voice siad.
"um....Hi, who is this?" i asked, coz it wasn't Mel.
"It's Ben, Mel's brother, i'm 15, how are you?" he said nicely.
"BEN GIVE ME THE PHONE!!!" I heard mel shout from another room.
"okay bye hannah!" he said then gave the phone to mel.
"Hello Hannah! sorry about that!" she said apologeticly.
"No problem, so what time should i come over?" i said.
"umm...hows 12:30?" she asked suddenly.
"Yes, thats fine, cya then!" i said, then just before i hung up.
"WAIT! is that all, don't you wanna talk about other things?" she asked shocked.
"Oh, sorry, i just never really talk about much." i said.
"Hang on, Ben;s listening on the other phone, i can hear him breathing!" she said angrily.
"Hey hannah, i can't wait to meet you!" he said nicely.
"Well, you better go before she eats you!" we laughed.
"OKay, Sorry Hannah, he is such a pain in the ass!" she laughed.
"So, hows Thomas?" i asked politely.
"Umm....Haha, he;s great, but i wanted to talk to you about him tomorrow!" she said quickly.
"So, i guessing everyone in your family knows about him?" i asked curiously.
"Umm, yes, it is annoying when, Ben always makes jokes, and i think Ben likes the sound of you, so be careful tomorrow, he might try something." she said, she sounded irritated.
"Well i will be, also i have to go now. Bye " then i hung up.
When i walked to her house, she opened the door before i knocked, we then laughed.
"Hey!" she said.
"Hi, how are you?" i asked.
"Great, now that your here!" she said happily.
"Cool, now where's Ben?" i asked, suddenly curious.
"Um...in the living room, we shall sneek past." she laughed.
"kay" i was getting nervous again.
She got past the living room easily, but then it came to me, and i stood on a floorboard, and it creeked. Oh crap! Ben turned to see me, standing in the hall way.
He opened his mouth. "HI!" he waved.
"um...hey!" i waved back, then Mel grabbed my hand, and pulled me to her room.
We then laughed.
Mel's house was Brown, with a honey coloured door, very warm colours inside and out. Her room was small, but had a great cd player, and a nice bed, it even had a full lenght mirror.
She flicked the lid of her cd player shut, and pressed play.
"oh awesome, you like Escape the fate!" i reconized it the moment i heard it.
"Yes, they are mad!" she said, and smiled.
I started singing along to one of the songs, with her. we giggled. Then realized Ben was coming up the stairs.
"Hey girls!" he said, as he danced around the door way. I laughed, he was funny.
"BEN GET OUT!" she screamed.
"I am not in your room!" he was irratating her again. I laughed.
"MUM!" she yelled.
"BEN HONEY GET OUT OF MEL'S ROOM!" Her mum shouted from the kitchen. i think.
"Hannah, do you wanna stay the night, i forgot to ask last night, but do you?" Mel asked, and ben's face lit up.
"Yes, mum;s away so i might as well, i will need to go get stuff!" i said.
"Sure, i will come!" then we walked to my house.
When we got back, i combed my hair. Ben saw me.
"You know you don't need to do that, your pretty anyway!" he smiled. Crap he was flirting, i alreadu had a boyfriend, how could i say thats nice of you! without making it sound flirty.
"ummm....." i said, stupidly.
He laughed.
"So....what age are you?" he asked, probably hoping i was 16, coz he was turning 16 soon.
"umm...17" i said, very chuffed with myself.
"oh, well i am turning 16 in 2 weeks!" he said.
"wow, you'll like being 16 it's great fun, basically more party's" i winked at the end. opps! i probably shouldn't have.
He laughed. " Your funny!" he said.
"Thanks!" i said, then Mel grabbed me by the hand, put me in her room, and pushed her brother into his, and shut his door.
I laughed, so much.
"Gosh! he is soo ANNOYING!" she made him hear the last bit.
"He's nice" i said, and i wish i hadn't.
"Great, go makeout then!" she said, then he came out of his room and smiled at me.
"umm...I HAVE A BOYFRIEND MEL!" crap, i didn't mean to say that so loud, the look on Ben's face, was heartbraking.
Mel laughed. I didn;t.
"Ben there goes your chances!" she laughed again.
"aww, Mel shhh! thats mean!" i said quietly.
"So, I WASN'T GOING TO TRY ANYTHING!" he said, but i heard him choke out the last words, then he ran to his room, and slammed the door.
"opps!" mel said, clearly happy with me, and herself. "He'll get over it!" she said with a smile.
"Boys have feelings too! And it looked like you really upset him!" i said, i better shut up.
" meh!" she said.
i heard a bang on the wall next door.
That night, when Mel was asleep, i snuck to the toilet. when i turned round Ben was there.
"Sorry, about earlier!" i whispered.
"It's...okay....just she can be so stupid, and a bit of a bitch sometimes!" he whispered.
"well, thats a sister for you!" i whispered back.
"So you have a boyfriend!?" he said, i could see it was painful for him.
"uh...yes" i said.
"Lucky guy!" then he turned around and when for his room.
"wait, Ben!" i said, then i kissed him on the cheek. "Your a nice guy, but i am taken!" i said. we laughed quietly.
The next morning, we went down for breakfast, and we had toast. Ben sat next to me, around the table, he was a nice guy, and i am sure we would be friends, even if he wanted to be more, we would always be just friends.
After i went home, i called to see how mum and sam were doing at my grandparents house.
It rang 4 times, "Hello Hannah! mum said, how are you?" she saked worriedly.
"I am great, i just got back from Mel;s i stayed the night, and her brother, Ben quite likes me, it is a bit strange, but don;t worry, he knows i am taked!" we laughed. i got on really well with my mum.
"Well i shall see you at the end of this week! Take care!" she said, then the phone call was over. i guess i got my, not talking for long on the phone thing, from her.
Then the phone rang, "Hello?" i asked.
"Hey!" Jason said.
"hello!" i said back.
"So were you out yesterday, and last night?" he asked.
"um...yes" i said.
"yeah, i tried to call, but you were out, so i diceded to call later" he said. "So how are you beautiful?" he asked.
"um...good, you?" I liked Jason, he always made me feel good about myself.
"Yeah, i am alright, but if i could see you today it would be better!" Jason said happily.
"Oh, well, you can" i said, making him happier.
"Great! do you want me to come over and we can go for a walk?" he asked eagerly.
"Yes!" then i hung up.
10 minutes later, he was at my door, i greeted him with a kiss, and a hug, then he grabbed my hand, and we walked the opposite way than normal, towards Mel's house. I just hoped Ben wasn't at the window when we passed. Great! just my luck he was, and when he saw Jason;s hand around mine, he looked at me then walked away. Aww poor Ben.
Jason took me to this nice cafe, in the other side of town, it was modern, and stylish, i just knew i couldn't afford it here.
"um...where are we?" i asked, stupidly. Duh a cafe.
"This is 'Shine On', the new cafe in town, and don't worry, I'm paying!" he laughed, it was like he read my mind.
"Cool" i said, then we sat at a window seat. I liked window seats, because you got to look, at the world pass by you.
The waitor, came over "What can i get you guys?" he said patiently.
"Um...2 creamy soda's" jason said, he always orded this, it was our usual.
"thanks!" i said.
On the way back home, he bought me a chocloate chip cupcake, and he bought one for him too. We dibbled at them while we talked.
"So, umm....do you want me to stay at your house with you today, we could watch movies!" he asked, knowing that i would say yes.
"Yes!" i said eagerly.
I was late when we got back to my house, we then watched about 3 movies, 1 scary, one funny, and one romantic. I then felt my eyes close, when i was resting my head against his chest.
When i woke up, it was morning, and i realized that i had slept on Jason all night, opps! he opened his eyes and then kissed me.
"Oh Goodmorning!" he said to me.
"haha, i cnt believe we slept here!" i said while smiling.
"me two, oh well at least i was with you!" he said, then kissed me again.
"Yeah, i mist admite, i enjoy things more when your around!" then we sat there for ages, just talking, and messing around. I was in my happy, with Jason.
"I love you!" i said, it first for the first time.
"I love you more!" he said, then we laughed.

Chapter 5. 17th birthday

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" mum yelled as she came into my room.
"mmmm" i was soo tired.
Then i opened my eyes with a start, sam was jumping on my bed.
"SAM GET OFF!" i yelled.
He stuck his tounge out at me. Wait...I'm...17 now...oh my gosh!
"I'm 17!" i yelled.
I also had a great boyfriend, and we had been going out for 2 months now. Gosh it's March 15th already, wow, i had lost track of time, I think it;s coz i am always having so much fun.
Mum started singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!".
"Happy Birfdays!" sam said.
Awww, he was so cute, he was a premature baby, so we cared for him dearly, and so he wasn't going to start school until 5, which was next year in January second.
Jason was already 17, he turned 17 in febuary 14th.
"Mum, can i have a party?" i asked politely.
"Sure, pumpkin, tonight?" she said.
"YES! what time?" i asked.
"7pm, just ask some people at school, not over 15 people!" she said.
"COOL!" i said, and gave her a big hug.
after i had showered, and got my clothes on, i went downstairs for breakfast.
I walked to school now holding Jasons hand, and i walked beside Jess. Jess and Jake were still together. Sophie was still with David, and Mel was still with Thomas, so we were all pretty happy in that department.
"Hey guys? do you wanna come to my party tongith at 7pm?" i asked casually.
"YES!" they both said at the same time. We all laughed.
"Oh and by the way! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Jess said.
Jason bent down and whispered in my ear " Happy Birthday babe!"
I giggled, and jess just looked at us, then smiled.
I then got onto my tiptoes and kissed him on the check. He bent down slightly to make it easier.
"You guys are soo cute!" jess said, then ran off to get Mel, to tell her about the party.
"Not as cute as you!" jason said to me.
"Pfft, right...." we laughed.
By lunch everyone knew about my party, well my friends group, so there was only...Anna, Tiffany, Sophie, Mel, Jess, Jake, Thomas, David, Jason, Freddie, i didn't really know freddie well, but from what i knew she was a nice girl, plan, dyed blonde hair, pulled back into french plats. She also was a bit of a cake face, meaning she covered herself in foudation, and masscara, and eyeshaddow, and loads of lipgloss.
Me and Jason, Jess, Mel, Jake, Thomas all sat under the big tree, the place where Jason and I sat for the first time. We were all great friends. Mel always sat on Thomas's lap, Jess, always lay on Jake's lap, or in between his legs, and Jason and I always lay down on the grass beside each other holding hands.
Jason whispered in my ear "I love you"
"I love you too" i whispered back
Then we sat up and ate some lunch, i had a cheese sandwhich. I turned around to see where jess had gone and she was making out with Jake, behind the tree. Haha. WHen they came back round, everyone laughed.
After school Jason gave me a piggy back home, then he left to get ready. I had a lot of work to do. First i went to the shops to buy food, and drinks, then when i got home mum had already set up banners, and balloons, all i had to do was get changed. Before i knew it, the door rang. Wow, lucky i was ready.
I answered the door "Hey Freddie!".
"hey, thanks for inviting me!" she walked in, and sat on the couch.
The music was really loud and sam was dancing around the place like a monkey. The door rang again.
"Hey Jess!" i said.
"Hey Han!" she walked in and started dancing with Sam.
The door rang again " hey guys!" all the guys turned up together.
"Hey Hannah!" Said Jake, Jess was through in a flash, to kiss him, then they set off dancing.
"Hey Hannah!" Thomas said.
"Hey honey!" Jason said, i kissed him, then showed him through.
"Hey Han!" David said, i hadn't realized that he had Sophie with him, they were holding hands.
"Oh hey Sophie!" i smiled.
"Hello!" she walked in with the rest.
Then Mel arrived, and Tiffany, and Anna.
We all started eating, drinking, dancing, and talking, even some kissing, mum and sam went across the road to her friends house, to give me a private party.
"Your brother is so cute! If he was our age i would date him!" Anna said.
"oh, haha!" we all laughed at her.
I took Jason up to my room, to show him around, i mean it was his first time in my room.
"well this is my...interesting...messy...room!" i giggled.
"I like it, it is really cool." he said then sat on the bed.
He waved me to come join, by patting the bit of bed next to him. I knew he would take advantige of this double bed. When i sat down he put his arm around my waist, and whispered "Happy Birthday!" He then handed me a black box. Everyone else had given me presents, but Jason had waited to give me his. I got a cd from Thomas, Jake, David, the had a joint present, they gave me their 'Motor Stripes' Cd. Jess got me a pair of the shoes i liked of hers, but in a different colour. Mel had givin me some nice body spray things. Tiffany, Anna, Freddie had a joint present, they got me a dvd, called 'Bring it on'.
"Here you go!" he put it in my hand.
"oh, thanks!" i said, then i opened the lid. Whoaa! it was so pretty it was a neclace, to be more prosice, it was a locket. When i opened it, it had a picture of me and him, and on the back it said 'I love you'.
"Oh, thankyou so much! I love it, but I love you so much more!" i said. Then i grabbed him a kissed him. When we were kissing i felt his tounge push my mouth open, and i let it, we kept kissing until we heard someone coming upstairs, then we pulled away and i went to put my locket on.
I came back through to show Jason, He gasped.
"wow, it looks great on babe!" he hugged me, then kissed my forehead.
"Thanks! this is the best birthday present ever, i am never going to take the locket off!" i smiled a great big grin.
After everyone left, mum came home.
"So honey...." she trailed off, when she saw my with a locket on.
"Who's that from? It's beautiful!" she said.
"Open and then read the back!" i smiled.
She opened it, then read the back. "Awww honey, that so sweet! Jason is a really ncie guy, i like him!" she said, then smiled.
"I do too!" I said. Then sighed a happy sigh.

Chapter 4. Party

Before i knew it, it was Friday night. Jess walked me home, to my place to pick up my stuff, then to her house. Her house was green, with a black door, it was really casual looking, inside and out. It had a really warm feel about it. Her room smelt of a nice perfume.
"So...what do you think?" she asked.
"umm...yes i think it;s nice!" i said with a smile.
"Well, you can shower whenever you want!" she said nicely.
"yeh, sure, thanks!" i answered.
We set up my bed, then went down to watch a movie with popcorn, the popcorn was nice, it was a sweet flavor, i have never had this flavor before, so i really enjoyed it.
"Hey, wanna go for a walk down by the river?" she asked eagerly.
"Yes, i'm up for anything!" i said back.
We walked for a while, then sat on the river bank.
"So..eh..i'm having this party tomorrow night, wanna come? Everyone is coming, like all the people from our grade! And Jason will be there!" she winked.
"Yeah, i'll come, if you stop saying stuff about Jason!" we laughed.
"Okay be at my place for 7pm. It will go on till about 2am, so make sure you sleep well tonight!" she laughed a tuneless laugh.
"Yes! haha! You know, i think your one of my best friends!" i said quietly.
"Wow, really?? well um..your one of mine too!" she said.
After her sleepover, i headed home, i dumped my stuff on the floor, and when to sleep, true is that i didn't sleep well the night before, so i needed to sleep now.
I woke up at 5pm, geez i was tired, i had slept for 4 hours. I put on some pasta, and had cheese with it, mum was in the city with sam eating dinner, so i was alone. I then got ready for the party, SHOOT! what was i going to wear?! I shoved on black skinny's and a red singlet that said 'Rock & roll' then i put on my black converse, and straightened my hair, to make sure it was extra striahgt. I painted my nails black, and put on a red beaded neclace, some pink and black braclets, some eyeliner, and some other stuff, then i went out, with my phone in my pocket.
When i arrived there must have been 35 people already, wow this was going to be busy. When i knocked, Mel answered the door.
"Oh hey! come on in!" she unlocked the door and i walked in.
i looked around, there was drinks, food, and loads of people.
Jason waved me to come over, i did, he was sitting with Thomas, Jake, and David. Thomas had Mel on his lap. Jessie was sitting with them, next to jake, they were talking, and laughing a lot, Sophie waved to me, and smiled, then she went back to talking with David.
"HEY!!!" Jason yelled over the music.
i laughed. "HEY HEY HEY!" i yelled back.
Mel and Thomas went over to another couch and started kissing. i looked away feeling embarassed for looking. David whispered in Sophie;s ear and then she giggled, then she kissed his check. By the looks of it, he had just asked her out. Then it was jess's turn, Jake turned to her, and he just kissed her. Wow! that was weird, then i guess they were together, gosh what was this a hook up party.
"Do you wanna dance?" Jason asked in my ear.
"umm...kay" i said nervousely, truth is that i had only ever danced with someone once, and i was 14, now i was 16, there is a little difference. I never really cought guys eyes, so they never really asked me abotu anything.
The next song came on, gosh just my luck, it was a fast one, we danced jumping around, then the music slowed, i started to sweat, and as i turned around to quickly run and sit down, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back around.
"hey, c'mon, one more dance, please?" he asked, i knew this would happen. I liked Jason, a lot more than a friend, but did he feel the same?
"kay" thats all i could say when i was nervouse.
He put his hands on my waist, and i put mine around his neck, thats what they do in movies, so i copyed. Haha i'm so lame.
We danced slow, the song was nice, we kept in time, and then it happened. He bent down toward me, and the suddenly his lips were touching mine. They felt nice, warm, soft. We then looked at each other and blushed.
"You look really nice tonight!" He said, flirting, but i didn;t mind.
"thanks, you too, hahaha!" we laughed.
"So, umm....Hannah, will you um....go out with me..?" he asked, while blushing.
It was about 2 minuted before i realized i was dazing.
"oh, yeah!" i said a little to eagerly.
we smiled and laughed.
He held my hand for the rest of the night, and kissed me sometimes.
"Sorry Jason, can i borrow Han for a while?" said Jess.
"Yes, borrow, but don't keep her to long!" he winked at me.
Jess led me to a corner, it was quiet.
"OH, MY, GOSH!!! He kissed you!, you kissed him, your holding hands, i am guessing your going out?!" she said happily. "I knew it would happen!" she said.
"Yes, and Mrs Jake, like you can talk, are you together?" i asked curiously.
"umm...yes!" she blushed.
We laughed, then she hugged me.
"I am so happy for us both!" she said.
The the party ended, and i was heading home, when something grabbed my hand and pulled me to the river.
"What are you doing!?" i asked worried.
"Taking you somewhere...private" Jason said.
The just before i could ask where we were going, he kissed me, but this time for longer, i felt his warm breath in my mouth, then he pulled away, and looked at me.
"Your so special!" he told me.
I laughed. "Not really, i am boring!" i said, putting myself down.
"No, your special!!" he said it more stubbornly this time.
"thanks, anyway i better be going, it's really late!" i said, because it must be about 2:45am.
"Oh well, umm...tomorrow, do you wanna hang out? You could come over to mine?" he asked.
"Yes, i will, cya? what time?" i asked.
"um....12pm, we could go get drinks or something!" he said eagerly.
"sure, bye Jason!" i kissed him quickly, and then walked home.
"Bye!" he yelled.
The next day, i headed over to his house, i rang the door bell.
"Oh hello, and goodmorning Hannah!" she said welcomly. i think she knew about me and Jason.
"hello!" i said, greeting her nicely.
She said i could go up and see Jason.
i knocked. He answered and pulled me in, he then hugged me tightly.
I gasped. "Can't...breath!!" He laughed, then let go.
He held my hand on the way downstairs. His mum saw, and smiled.
"you kids have fun, Jason here is some monery" she said, then whispered something in his ear.
We walked along the main street holding hands, and talking away. The we sat at a nice cafe.
"What drink do you want?" he asked.
"Creamy Soda!" i said.
We laughed.
"i shall have the same, it;s my favourite drink!" he said and smiled.
"me two!" i said am smiled my big grin.
"Your really pretty!" he said, he liked saying these things, and he promiced me they were true, but i just said thanks, coz i didn't think so.
"thanks" i said, and blushed. i think he liked seeing me blush.
After that, we walked down by the river, then sat on, i guess 'our bench'. haha!
He moved closer and kissed me, but this was a little further than the normal kiss.
"umm hannah?" he asked, shyly.
"yes?" i said curiously.
"i....um....love...you!" he said, then smiled, while blushing.
"I love you too!" I said.
We then watched the sun set, holding hands. I was now in my happy place.

Chapter 3. Jason

When i woke up, i sneezed. Then I walked to the bathroom and had a shower, i really had to wash my hair, i hadn't for about 3 days. Then aftre my shower i dryed my hair with the hair dryer, then i straightened it.
"Bananna!!" Sam greeted me, he always greeted me this way, i think it't coz it sounds like Hannah.
"Hey Jam!" I said, trying to do the same as him, he smiled, gosh! i loved his smile, it was just so cute.
"Oh! Hi...mum?" I asked, a bit worried, mum was never up this early.
"Oh hey honey, i'm heading into the city today, so i need to go early!" She said excitedly.
"Cool, well have fun!" I wished her well for the day, then 10 mins later while i was eating my cereal, she was gone, with sam.
Finally i had the house to myself, i like the peace and quiet, i liked to be independant, but still loved having a couple of great friends with me.
I did my normal route to school, and kept asking myself why Jason didn't just walk to school, instead he took the bus, when he could walk with me, oh well, boys are strange, i'll give mum that one.
"Hey Hannah!" Mel greeted me loudly from the end of the hall.
"HEY MEL!" i shouted back, just for the fun of it.
I got a dirty look from a teacher, i smiled and waved, it was even more fun messing with teachers.
Mel ran up to me.
"So...Hows life?" she asked casually.
"um...alright, same old, same old!" I said back.
"good, good!" she smiled.
Then suddenly a boy came up to Mel and kissed her, i must have been standing with a curious look on my face, because aftre he had talked to her for 2 minutes, she turned to me.
"um..." she said blushing.
"Was that...your...boyfriend?" i asked stupidly, of course it was!
"Yes, his names Thomas, he's in a band called ' Motor stripes', he plays the lead guitar!" she said, bosting a little.
"Oh, cool!" i said happily.
"haha" she said.
Class was fun today, Jason was making me laugh so much.
"Yeh! thats they day i fell in the river, i tripped over my own feet and fell in!" he whispered.
I laughed. "well, i'm so clumsy, it just isn't funny!"
we both smiled, and we gazed at each other for a moment, then looked away quickly.
"Okay dockey class, tonight, i want you all to pick a partner, and study a topic together!" he said eagerly.
I turned and saw, jess and Mel pick each other, and tiffany and Sophie, then Anna with a girl called Freddie.
"um...do you wanna be partners?" i heard Jason say i he saw me with no-one.
"oh, gosh, yes, um...thanks...your a lifesaver!" i then smiled a big grin. He gasped.
"OH FOR GOD SAKE! WHAT?" i asked, suddenly self-concious.
"um..nothing, just...." He trailed off. I knew it was about my smile, gosh it was nothing special, so why did every one think so?
The lunch bell rang, and Mel and Jessie, grabbed my hands and pulled me out.
"so....what was all that...talking with Jason?" they both asked at the same time.
"eh...we are friends, so we talk...and we are partners for this task" i said unevenly. they couldn't tell.
"yes, i think you like each other!" Mel said loudly.
"um...no" i wasn't sure about that one, i mean i really didn't think i did, but i don't even know myself, so how would i know!?
After lunch, Mr Tonson was telling us that he had made the disition that we were all going to stay seated where we were for the rest of the year, unless anyone complains.
Great! I liked where i was sitting, and I think Jason liked it too.
After school, Jason tapped me on the shoulder again.
"um...hello! eh..can i walk with you?" he asked nervously.
"sure! but don't you normally get the bus?" i answered.
"Yes, but i have decided that now i have a friend, that lives near me, i should walk!" he laughed.
"Oh YAY! i would love for you to walk with me!" I smiled a big grin.
he almost gasped, but decided not to. Grr! i hated when people made a fuss over me.
As we were walking, we couldn't stop talking, it was great. We got along so well.
"So, who are your other friends in the class, or other classes?" i asked nicely.
"Jake, he is going to ask out Jess...soon, Thomas, he's going out with Mel, David, he likes Sophie!" he laughed, then smiled.
"Oh, haha, don't worry i won;t tell!" I pretended to zip my mouth closed.
We laughed, then i realized we were almost home!, i sighed, he realized and i think he was thinking the same thing.
"Um...do you wanna come over to my place?" He asked.
"eh...yes..we could work on that project thing" i said casually.
"Yes....do homework!" He winked, and we laughed again.
His house was really cool, it was white, with big windows, and a really pretty red front door. The garden had a lovely gravel path, that i slipped on, and he cought me before i hit my head.
"Gosh! you are clumsy!" he said, then laughed, i sighed, and smiled.
His house smelt good, like a nice vanilla perfume.
"Oh Hello! are you Hannah?" I heard a women say.
"um...yes..Hello!" i saod back nicely.
"Jason has said so much about you!" his mother said.
"MUM!" he yelled, then blushed, and grabbed my hand and took me up stairs.
i heard her laugh, then walk back into the kitchen.
"Your mum;s nice!" i said then laughed.
His mum, had lovely blonde curly hair, she wore a purple flowery dress, and green cooking gloves.
Jason's room smelt nice, chocolate lynx i think....mmm.
"So...what do you wanna do the project on?" i asked.
"umm...what about the river?" he asked.
"yeh, that sounds cool, can u show me it?"i asked, smiling.
"Sure, lets go now!" he said, and ran downstairs.
we ran to the river, i had to push myself to keep up with him, then he stopped and started walking.
"Jason, are you in a band?" i asked curiously, Mel had me interested in that.
"Yes! 'Motor Stripes' , haha, yeh i play guitar" he said happily.
"oh, my gosh! your in the same band as Thomas!" i said.
"yeah!" he said and smiled.
"well, here we are!" he poited to the river.
"wow!" i said. It was so pretty, the river was clean, and had fish in it, it also had a nice bench to sit at, Jason was already sitting down, so i joined him. We sat there talking for so long. I didn't realize it was dark till i shuddered, it was cold! Jason saw me shiver, and gave me his coat, it was a little big, but it was soo warm.
"umm..thanks!" i said. it was a nice coat too.
"No problem!" he said, and smiled.
Then my phone rang, CRAP! mum, i picked up.
"Hello!" i said.
"hey honey, time to come home! have u had a nice time with your friends?" she asked.
"yes, sure, i'll be home in 15 mins." i hung up.
I took his jacket off, and gave it back. he walked me to the end of his, road, i could see my house from there.
"Thankyou, so much!" i said grateful.
"No problem, you can come back any time!"
Then I grabbed him and gave him a big hug. rather embarassing, but we were friends so why did it matter?
He hugged me back, then i went home.
"Night Jason!" i shouted.
"Night Hannah!" he shouted back.
